I finally made it to La Scala and now I understand the hype! The legendary chopped salad absolutely lived up to its reputation—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The ingredients were so crisp and finely chopped, each bite was a perfect mix of savory and satisfying. The signature dressing is light but incredibly flavorful, tying everything together without overpowering. The ambiance was classic Beverly Hills: elegant but not stuffy, with attentive service that made me feel genuinely welcomed. Whether you’re a regular or a first-timer, the team treats you like a VIP. La Scala is a true LA institution for a reason. I’ll definitely be back—and I already know I’m ordering that salad again. Bravo!
Chopped salad all the time any day of the week. It’s all I order here because it’s that good:).
The La Scala salad is the best salad in the world. Unfortunately, our waitress came and took our order, and we never saw her again until she gave us our check. The person that delivered our order never even offered us parmesan cheese.
We have been eating at LA SCALA for more then 30 year and never had a bad experience. Food and service is Amazing Thank you for all this time including on Monday the 29th celebration of my Husband Birthday and many other times for so many years ❤️❤️
Delicious. Perfect size portions. I Camden’s late and when I ordered the waitress made her best effort to get it out fast and they did it was very impressive. So good! The chop salad also looks really good but I was more in the mood for pasta
La Scala is an old favorite!! Food is good and service is excellent. I usually go there for the chopped salad and it doesn’t disappoint…. the disappointment is that they now charge for the basket of bread 🤷🏼♀️
Oh I love La Scala and have been coming here since I was 19 and now I’m 58!. The chopped salad is amazing and so is their bread that comes with it. It’s an experience.

The menu offers classic dishes that are consistently well prepared, and everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and served quickly. The famous chopped salad absolutely lives up to the hype, and the rest of the meal was equally satisfying. What really elevated the experience was the service. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care that every guest enjoyed their visit. Great food, excellent hospitality, and a comfortable atmosphere make this a place I’ll gladly return to again.
